At Querencia Homestay, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all guests.
1. Reservation & Payment
- A booking is confirmed only after receiving the required advance payment.
- Guests will receive a booking confirmation email/WhatsApp message after successful payment.
2. Cancellation Policy
Guest-Initiated Cancellations
- Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in.
→ Full refund of the advance amount. - Cancellation between 3–7 days before check-in:
→ 50% of the booking amount will be refunded. - Cancellation within 72 hours (3 days) of check-in:
→ No refund.
(Because the room is reserved exclusively for you and is difficult to refill on short notice.) - No-show (guest does not arrive without notice):
→ No refund.
3. Date Change / Reschedule
- Guests may request a date change up to 7 days before check-in, subject to room availability.
- Date changes within 3 days of check-in will be treated as a cancellation.
4. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- The refund will be issued to the same payment method used during booking.
- Any transaction charges (payment gateway/UPI/Bank fees) may be deducted from the refund amount.
5. Homestay-Initiated Cancellations
In rare cases where Querencia Homestay must cancel a confirmed booking (natural calamity, maintenance issues, unavoidable circumstances):
- Guests will receive a 100% refund, or
- A free date change to any available future date.
6. Early Check-Out
- If the guest decides to check out earlier than planned:
→ The unused nights are non-refundable.
7. Special Offers / Discounted Bookings
- Bookings made under promotional offers, festive discounts, or non-refundable categories are not eligible for refunds.
